The following FOX News animal video contains an interview with the owner of Tardar Sauce, a grumpy cat that has gone viral. Tabatha “Tabby” Bundesen is the owner of Tardar Sauce, but her brother Bryan answers most of the questions in this Today interview. This clip is from the December 2, 2012 episode of Today.
Tardar Sauce first went viral when Bryan started posting images of the grumpy cat online. From there, the Bundesens got a lot of messages from people who said the cat, while looking grumpy, actually makes them smile and feel happy.
The Bundesens have actually managed to turn this into a money-making venture. They have some T-shirts and stuff like that at Shop.GrumpyCats.com. Bryan says that was not be design. But they actually received some requests for some Tardar Sauce products. So they put together some products with pictures of the cat.
Bryan also says they give some of the money to charitable causes. So far, they have given to two animal shelters. However, he did not say how much they have given and did not pledge a specific amount during this interview.
