I would hope that the Sanford authorities (and now federal authorities that are involved) will not fold to such pressure. If the facts are there to prosecute George Zimmerman, then fine. Charge him, arrest him and prosecute. But this mob of protesters is marching for its own benefit. The facts I have seen so far would make it difficult to prosecute George Zimmerman.
The police have all of the evidence, not just the dribs and drabs that have leaeked out to the public. And anonymous witnesses and such are quite possibly not even witnesses at all. I don’t have a beef with people holding a rally, but they don’t have a lot of facts on their side at this point. Let’s hope cooler heads prevail and make a reasoned decision.
