Commission Tracking
When you qualify for Writing Shares revenue-sharing commissions the first time, I will send you a link to a special page in Google Docs. It will contain only your special Global Stats ID number, NOT your name or any other personal information. You will receive your Global Stats ID number when you are accepted after applying as a writer here at Writing Shares. It is in your acceptance email.
Your individual commissions page will not exist until you actually qualify for commissions. However, you can always track your progress in terms of articles written and profit-sharing points on the “Global Stats” page. Email me from the Help link above if you lost or can’t remember your special Global Stats ID number.
Page Views
There is no way to check individual page views on your articles. This is irrelevant in Writing Shares because commissions are based on your number of profit shares, not page views. That is a completely unfair system. You earn based on the work you have done here, not based on getting lucky and getting a bunch of page views or getting unlucky and not getting views. Best of all, you get paid on every tags page, every category page, and even on the home page. Other companies keep all that money to themselves. You share a portion of all advertising revenue, not just profits on your individual pages.
