Special Niches Program

Writing Shares Special Niches Program

There are two purposes behind the Special Niches program. First, we want to reward people who have shown the commitment to being good and responsible writers here on Writing Shares. You do not have to be one of the best writers to get accepted for Special Niches. But you have to be one of the honest and reliable ones. Familiarity with and adherence to our Writing Ruleswhen submitting articles is the primary factor to getting accepted as a Special Niches writer. Once accepted, you will earn 10 shares per article for articles written as part of the Special Niches program. This is your reward for being a loyal and reliable writer. The second purpose of the Special Niches program is to get articles out quickly. If you enter this program, you can submit articles for instant approval. In some cases, this helps us in getting traffic on trending topics and news items because they will be indexed shortly after you write them since there is no approval waiting time.

Follow these rules to qualify and apply for the Special Niches program:

1. Qualify for basic profit sharing by writing your first 30 articles.

2. After getting 30 accepted, then send me another email to [email protected] requesting to join one of the Special Niches. At present, only the TV niche is available. Put “Special Niches TV Application” in the subject line. I will look at your 30 articles required for profit sharing and confirm that you are a suitable candidate. Wait for an email from me for further instructions.

Special Niche #1: Television

If you are accepted into the Special Niches program, you will get the chance to write on other websites. At present, we will shortly be opening a website for TV entertainment. Others may follow. To participate in the TV entertainment site and Special Niches program, you will need to be a regular viewer of some TV show. Shows are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will then write an article that previews and/or reviews each episode. For some shows, you can write multiple articles. An example is The Voice, where you can write an article on every single singing performance aired on the show. On the other hand, if you are writing on The Office or something like that, then you generally have only one article per episode.

However, you can write other articles that are related to that TV show. For example, how are contract negotiations going for the next season? What are the ratings this season? Is a new cast member about to join? Often, you just simply follow the Facebook and Twitter of the actual show or fans of the show to keep up with this related news.

Once you are accepted into the Special Niches program (see instructions above), you need to claim one or more TV shows so you can write reviews and other articles on that show. You will receive a link to the claims page only after you are accepted. Do NOT claim a show unless you watch every episode because we do not want to have missing episodes once we start to cover a show.

Warning: If you get accepted into the TV program, you must stay active. If you abandon your TV show, then you will lose your TV and 10-shares-per-article writing privileges at my discretion. I have the final decision, and you may not appeal it.
