Celebrity Apprentice 12 Finale: Clay Aiken vs. Arsenio Hall

Spoilers that I read online have said that Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall make the finals of Celebrity Apprentice. While I cannot confirm this personally, the spoilers for The Apprentice tend to be true for a couple of reasons. Of course, the first is that they tape the finale far in advance of the actual finals broadcast. Second, unlike a show like Survivor, the finals challenge is typically in a very accessible place in New York City. This naturally provides a lot of opportunities for spoilers.

Having said that, if Clay and Arsenio make it to the finals, I would give the edge to Clay based on what I have seen so far. Both were competent project managers, but Clay seems like more of a leader and game player. However, Arsenio always has that comedy element that could be valuable from an entertainment perspective.

There is also the issue of raising money. We already know that Arsenio can probably raise a bundle of money from Jay Leno if he makes the finals. It is not so clear how much Clay Aiken can produce on the fundraising side of the equation.

I’m not sure where Donald Trump’s head is sometimes with his decision about whom to hire and fire. Picking Bret Michaels, for example, was simply strange and seemed to be a sympathy pick more than anything else. On the other hand, John Rich was a great pick. In this case, I can see political or sympathy factors cutting both ways. Thus, the decision about whom to hire and make the champion of Celebrity Apprentice 12 will probably come down to who leads well and who raises a lot of money for charity.

I will update this article if new information becomes available on the finale of Celebrity Apprentice.

Note: This is actually the 5th season of Celebrity Apprentice, but The Apprentice show is on its 12th season.
