In about two weeks, the YouTube video for “Part of Me” has already amassed over 28 million video views. At the time of this writing, it has 235,000 or so Likes and about 21,000 dislikes. The song is also at #3 on the YouTube 100, which is a chart that ranks music videos.
“Part of Me” is a single off of the upcoming album “Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.” This is an upbeat song that has a decent dance beat to it. However, it is not very unique at all. This kind of pseudo rock lick is heard over and over again, and the vocals sound very manufactured. Nonetheless, this will likely be another successful hit for Katy Perry.
