Juliet Simms is a singer competing on the 2nd season of The Voice. She has a very growly kind of voice. It’s kind of like a female version of Joe Cocker. Juliet made it past the initial blind auditions, and she has a spot on Cee Lo’s team. Based on what we have seen so far, it seems that Juliet will probably be a favorite to win her Battle Round contest.
Simms is on one of the weaker teams. And while I personally think she needs to soften up some of her raspy grunting, I know a lot of people will like her voice. She certainly won’t be a favorite to win the entire The Voice 2 singing contest. I predict she will start to sound too repetitive. I can just see it now. No matter what song she sings, it will always be that same exact style. But being on one of the weaker teams (perhaps the weakest at this point), she has a decent shot at a Top 8 finish. Regardless of her finishing position, she at least rates to have a good shot of winning her Battle Round performance.

At this point, she is a favorite for this next round. But it will also depend on which opponent she gets saddled with in the head-to-head competition.
