The Voice 2 Top 8 Semifinals Performance of Blake Shelton’s “Over”

Blake Shelton is a country singer and coach on the U.S. version of The Voice. The show has reached the Top 8 semifinals for Season 2, and Blake will be doing a world TV premiere of his single “Over.” He will be performing on the Monday performance show, which starts at 8 Eastern and lasts two hours.

“Over” is a single from Shelton’s “Red River Blue” album. He is on a bit of a roll lately as both the ACM and CMA Male Vocalist of The Year. In addition, “Red River Blue” has sold more than 500,000 copies, making it a gold album and #1 Billboard album. Two singles - “Honey Bee” and “God Gave Me You” - have gone platinum, with downloads of more than 1 million each.

Blake will also have to decide how many points to assign to team members Jermaine Paul and Erin Willett after their semifinal performances. He will split 100 points between them, and those scores will be combined with the public vote, with each one getting 50 percent of the overall score.
