Temple University’s Fox School of Business is located in Philadelphia, PA. You can choose from several different kinds of MBA programs at Fox, including the standard full-time MBA, executive, international, online, and professional part-time MBA programs.
In this article, I will highlight the general admissions standards. If you feel that you do not quite qualify and may not qualify for the full-time MBA pogram, you may still qualify for the part-time program if you are currently working in a business environment and would like to earn your MBA in your off time.
Undegrad Degree:
Temple MBA applicants must have a four-year college degree in any field to be accepted for admission.
GMAT and TOEFL:
Your GMAT score must be within the last 5 years. Your TOEFL score must be within the past two years. The Fox School of Business provides a typical class profile for admitted students. These numbers may vary and should be looked at as averages.
GMAT scores are pretty high for Temple MBA admissions. The average is 640, which is about the 75th percentile. That is far from the most competitive but certainly no cakewalk for most applicants. Start learning about the test over at MBA.com as soon as possible to improve your chances of getting a high score on the GMAT.
The average paper TOEFL is about 600, and the average computer score is about 230. The TOEFL Internet average is about 95.
GPA:
The average GPA is on the high end, as well. At 3.4, you can expect to need a competitive GPA if you have a GMAT substantially lower than the average of 640.
Work Experience:
The average work experience is five years. Here again, if you have a stellar GMAT and GPA, perhaps you can have less work experience. Similarly, if you have 10 years of business work experience, you may be able to gain admission with lower-than-average GMAT and GPA scores.
