WSAZ reports that one victim was struck and killed by a train in St. Albans, West Virginia. The accident occurred on Saturday, February 9, 2013. It was around 6 in the evening. The scene of the accident was the 300 block of B Street.
Victim:
The man killed is Kevin Moles. He was 48 years old. There were two unnamed kids walking with him. But they stopped and were not hit by the train.
Cause:
It’s hard to tell exactly from the description. But there is apparently a place to cross over the Coal River that is a bridge. A train was coming as Moles was crossing. For some odd reason that is unknown at this time, he just kept on walking even though the kids saw the train and stopped. Was this suicide? Well, the authorities say they may never know the answer to that question. The train even sounded its horn. But Moles kept proceeding across the tracks, got hit, and fell off the bridge. He died from his severe head injuries and broken bones.

This was my father. And you need to revise your story. There was not two children. There was only one and he ran to get away from the train. And the train DID NOT. Blow is horn. Get your facts straight before you write stuff online. It was not suicide. My father lived his life for me and my sister.

If you are saying he didn’t commit suicide, then even you are saying you don’t know why he got hit by that train. Perhaps you should just talk to a lawyer and sue the railroad or train company if you think it’s their fault. Stop posting here cause you aren’t making any sense.

I am Kevin moles girlfriend and I really think you need to realize all of us are hurt from this and you need respect the fact that his daughter Hannah has asked you not to right negative thing about her dad …if you can’t we can sue you as we’ll as CSX railroad …and he dam sure would not have jump out in front of the train in front of my daughter Mara he loved his kids and would never hurt them or me for anything….
