Cutler is a filmmaker who has recently made a documentary about former vice president, Dick Cheney. Cutler spent time with Cheney to gather research for the documentary. Cutler spent 20 hours with Dick Cheney over 4 days. That was the portion for the film research. But Cheney then invited Cutler and his team to go fly fishing on the 5th day. Cutler basically skirted the question of whether or not he actually likes Cheney.
The film is called “The World According to Dick Cheney.” He is the director.
Cutler thinks that Cheney thinks he really did the right things while in office.
There is a preview of this Showtime documentary in this Piers Morgan segment. Cheney is shown saying that he had a job to do and was not going to sacrifice American lives for his “honor.”
When asked what his main fault is, Cheney reportedly struggled to answer the question.
Cutler then talked about the positives and the negatives of someone like Dick Cheney. He said we need people with conviction. But if it goes too far and there is no compromise, that conviction can go too far.
