The 55th Grammy Awards air live on Sunday, February 10, 2013. They are on CBS. The show starts at 8 Eastern time. LL Cool J is the host.
According to the official website at Grammy.com, there will be a special Levon Helm tribute this year. He died in April 2012. Helm was a member of The Band.
Collaborating for this Levon Helm tribute are Zac Brown, T Bone Burnett, Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), Mumford And Sons, Elton John, And Mavis Staples.
I will post the YouTube video for this Levon Helm tribute as soon as it is available. In the meantime, you can watch Levon Helm singing “The Weight” at the Rumble At The Ryman, which previously aired on PBS. This turned out to be the same song performed for the tribute.
