American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez will be performing her new single “Dance Again” (featuring Pitbull) on the Season 11 Top 4 results show. She performed “On The Floor” in Season 10, and that ended up being a huge iTunes seller.
“Dance Again” doesn’t seem to have gotten off to as great of a start. It has only reached #25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been hovering around #17 on iTunes since a few days after its release about 5 weeks ago. However, it has sold over 100,000 downloads and appears to have some traction. So it may still be a platinum single before it is all said and done.
Will Jennifer actually sing in this performance? I doubt it. She will do a good job convincing some gullible people that she is good at dancing. That is about it.
The Top 4 results show in on Thursday, May 10, 2012. It starts at 8 p.m. Eastern and lasts one hour. Season 7 winner David Cook will also be performing on that same show.
