ABC News Crime Video: Bridgeport, Connecticut - Catholic Priest, Monsignor Kevin Wallin, Arrested For Allegedly Dealing Drugs (Crystal Meth)

The following ABC News crime video is about the arrest of Monsignor Kevin Wallin, a Catholic priest from Bridgeport, Connecticut. He is accused of being a drug dealer who was selling crystal meth. Wallin is facing federal charges for dealing drugs, apparently because he allegedly did drug deals across state lines. This video was added to the ABC website on January 18, 2013.

Wallin is also accused of laundering drug money through an adult video store.

Of course, the usual “we’re shocked” interviews can be seen on this video. It’s 2013, and people are still shocked that publicly good people have an ugly dark side.

Wallin was the pastor of St. Augustine Parish (Bridgeport) for a decade. There is some discrepancy on why he left in 2011. He says he resigned due to health reasons. But rumor has it he got caught having sex in his rectory (residence). Wallin is still a priest but is now on sabbatical.
