The America’s Got Talent 7 Top 48 is the first live voting round of the season.
Joe Castillo is a sand painter who performed on the Top 48 episode dated July 24, 2012. Shortly after the show, you will be able to view Joe’s sand-painting YouTube video below.
Before the show, I would rank Castillo between 4th and 7th in this highly competitive group. If I am right, that means he is going to need a really good night to make the top 4 and the next round (Top 24).
Truthfully, he is one of the more talented acts for Season 7. The question is how this sand painting will translate to the AGT stage and how it will be received by the voters. A Ukrainian sand painter did very well, but this type of act struggles on the American version of this talent show.
Joe will almost certainly lose out to Olate Dogs and Sebastian Charro De Oro. He will then be battling it out for the other two spots.
Castillo also has one more chance. He has enough talent to be picked as a wildcard and would add diversity to the top 24 if getting picked in that wildcard show.
