The America’s Got Talent 7 Top 48 is the first live voting round of the season.
All That performed its dancing act on the episode dated July 24, 2012. I will be posting the YouTube video of this live performance as soon as it is available. That could be a couple of hours after the show.
This act has actually been on AGT before. They made it to the final round on the first season but did not make the top 3. Nonetheless, they were my second favorite act at the time. Since then, I have somewhat changed my opinion of this type of act after getting more exposure to dance acts. The truth is, they were never really that unique, relying primarily on technical proficiency to get by. This is not the type of act that tends to do well on America’s Got Talent. And there are just more entertaining ways to present a dance act that is not so formulaic and like a raw exhibition. At the very least, they should at least try to tell some kind of story to have a chance of winning this time.
But in 6 years, I saw even less creativity in their auditions that what I saw in Season 1. They are going in the wrong direction unless they do something to step it up in the live rounds.
Check out the results episode for this group of 12 acts on July 25, 2012. I predict that All That has an average chance of making the top 4.
