Note: I only know this X Factor 2 contestant as CeCe so far because one of the judges mentioned her name in the audition. You can see CeCe’s Kansas City performance in the YouTube video below. However, it might be deleted by the time you get to this article.
CeCe performed Christina Aguilera’s “Ain’t No Other Man.” This is an extremely hard song to sing, and CeCe did just an okay job with it. She did not have the range to hit the big notes and should have at least done something different to better hide her lack of range.
I predict that this contestant will have little to no chance of winning. Based on what L.A. and Louis said, she is there for ratings, not as a potential winner.
CeCe has confidence, but it is the kind of confidence that will come across as cocky to a lot of X Factor fans unless her appearances are edited in such a way as to hide her cocky attitude.
At any rate, she may not even get picked for the voting rounds. But if she does, it is trivially easy to predict that she CeCe will not win. She is not good enough of a singer to win on vocals. From there, all she has left is personality. On that area, she might win a Class Favorite vote. But she will alienate too many voters in a contest like X Factor.
