America’s Got Talent 7 selected 48 acts from the Las Vegas auditions to compete on the live shows.
Light Wire Theater performed on the 3rd week of the Top 48 public voting rounds. There is one more week of 12 acts for the original Top 48 for Season 7.
For this first live performance round, I will predict that Light Wire Theater has a good chance of advancing. With the elimination of Aurora Light Painters last week, the producers will probably want to pimp out Light Wire Theater this week to create more balanced diversity in the Top 24.
The thing that bugged me about their Las Vegas audition is that it appeared to be almost exactly the same thing as their initial city audition. I certainly hope they have more themes and costumes up their sleeves. It’s going to get awfully boring if they do a dinosaur theme every round.
This type of act has done extremely well the past two years. Fighting Gravity and Team iLuminate both finished in 3rd place. While I believe Light Wire Theater will not finish that high, I can easily see them getting to the Top 24 and the Top 10 if they show more diversity in their performances.
Live Show:
Light Wire Theater is going last in the performance. Since they are closing the show, this act will almost certainly make it to the next round.
And they got a standing ovation. Light Wire Theater will definitely make it. Howie implied they will make the finals. Sharon said they will make the finals. Howard said it was a million-dollar act.
This was a bird theme. It starts with a chicken character who ends up dancing with some other birds. I wasn’t as blown away as the judges but feel they should definitely make the next round.
