Pompano Beach, Florida Crash News: Keturah Kelly Killed In Crash Involving Day Care Van

On Friday, May 3, 2013, there was an accident involving a car and a day care van. It happened at about 2:40 in the afternoon, in Pompano Beach, Florida. The driver of the van and 6 children sustained only minor injuries. But the woman in the car was killed.

Near Northwest 27th Avenue and Ninth Street

Victim:

Keturah Kelly was the car driver killed in this accident. She was 24 years old and lived in Boca Raton, Florida.

Veronica Blackman is 52 years old. She was driving the van, which belongs to Kidsville Early Learning Center. The 6 children were not identified.

Cause:

Police believe that Kelly was driving fast and rear-ended the day care van. The reason she hit the rear of the van is still under investigation.
