Novato, California Crime Video: Brien Leary And Robert Belton Arrested After Dog Allegedly Finds Drugs

Brien Leary and Robert Belton have been arrested in Novato, California, on Friday, July 25, 2014.

At about 11 at night, police pulled over a car on Center Road. A police dog sniffed out some alleged meth and drug paraphernalia.

Leary is 47, and Belton is 64. They live in Novato.

The men were arrested because they are suspected of meth possession, drug paraphernalia possession, and being under the influence of drugs.

The report did not say who was driving. It isn’t clear whether these drugs can be linked to both suspects. The amount of drug was not mentioned. But it may have been relatively small since the suspects are not accused of dealing drugs.

The original stop was based only on a suspected traffic violation.
