Yesterday, I reported on a car accident and alleged drunk-driving incident that claimed the lives of 3 victims in Anaheim, California. The tragic accident occurred on South Western Avenue. Click here to read more about the story.

OCRegister.com has released the names of both the suspect and victims in this case.

Suspect:

Anthony Lewis Sanchez is 40 years old. He lives in Buena Park, California. He is the one suspected of DUI. It is not known for sure if he is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter. Something the police have to consider is that reports indicate that the women were not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident. That can affect the extent of criminal charges.

Victims:

1. Carmen Mendoza was 56 years old. She was the mother of Victim #2 and aunt of Victim #3. Carmen lived in Anaheim.

2. Sheyla Mendoza was 21 years old. She also lived in Anaheim and was the daughter of Carmen (Victim #1). Sheyla was a graduate of Western High School and was still attending Cypress College.

3. Stephanie Henriquez was also 21 years old. She was the cousin of Sheyla and niece of Carmen.
