Newark, Delaware Accident News Video: University of Delaware Student Struck And Killed By CSX Freight Train

According to an article and video from DelawareOnline.com, a University of Delaware student was struck and killed by a CSX freight train. At this point, authorities believe that this was just an unfortunate accident. The University of Delaware is in Newark, DE (not New Jersey).

Where:

Near the 100 block of East Cleveland Avenue

When:

Saturday, April 13, 2013, at about 7:30 in the morning

Victim:

The name of the student victim had not yet been released. He was 20 years old.

Cause:

All that was stated was that the victim entered onto the tracks for some reason and was struck by the train.
