The following NBC entertainment video is a segment of the February 20, 2013 episode of Jay Leno’s Tonight Show. It is a skit called “Trevor Moore’s Winnovations.”
This is actually a recurring skit. Trevor pretends to be selling some funny product on the street. It’s not a real product. But the idea is to try to sell something that no person should really be buying at all.
Of course, some people can be convinced to buy something terrible and useless. And that’s what makes this skit comical. But it’s hard to tell if someone is just playing along or actually this gullible.
The first product is the Flava-Pult. It purports to enhance the flavor of food. All the product did was just throw the food against a wall.
Bill thought his ham sandwich tasted better. The next girl thought the banana tasted better. He did it with Jell-O, too.
The next product is the Blow-N-Grow. Trevor claims it grows hair. But it’s really just some thing with aluminum on it. You blow into it, and your own carbon dioxide is supposed to make your hair grow.
The next product is a piece of exercise equipment called the “Buddy Glide.” This was funny cause it almost makes it look like guys are giving each other oral sex. Maybe couples would like this if it actually worked. But it’s not really much of a workout.
