NBC Philadelphia News Video: Greg Holder’s Death Ties All-Time Camden, New Jersey Yearly Homicide Record; Still Two Months To Go in 2012

The following NBC crime news video is about Greg Holder’s homicide, which ties the all-time record for yearly homicides in Camden, New Jersey. And that is with almost two full months to go in the year. It is the 58th homicide in Camden in 2012. With a population of only about 77,000, that is a truly staggering number.

Holder had been beaten badly last week. And he died from his injuries on Friday, November 9, 2012. The motive allegedly had something to do with a drug deal. Witnesses said that two men assaulted him on Broadway and Berkley, on November 2. Holder was 45 years old and lived in Cherry Hill.

Police are still looking for the two suspects. They might now be charged with murder if caught.

Helene Pierson runs an organization called S.T.O.P. Its mission is to reduce crime. She is interviewed on this video.
