Laurel, Maryland (Anne Arundel County) Accident News: Meade High School Student Jaelin Ashe Struck And Killed By Car On Laurel-Fort Meade Road

CBS Baltimore reports that 15-year-old teenager Jaelin Ashe was killed in a pedestrian accident on Laurel-Fort Meade Road. He was a freshman at Meade High School. The accident occurred at about 6 in the morning, on Thursday, December 20, 2012.

Cause:

Although there was a crosswalk where Ashe was trying to cross the street, police believe he failed to check for traffic both ways before proceeding across the road. No further details were provided about the actual incident. Nothing was mentioned about the vehicle or driver who struck and killed him.
