J Rome Duets Top 3 Solo Performance Of Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered”

The Top 3 for Duets consists of John Glosson, J Rome, and Jason Farol.

For the Duets Top 3, the show decided to have the three remaining contestants sing a solo in addition to their duet. J Rome sang Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.”

This is an odd song choice. It has been performed way too many times on American Idol and is a fairly emotionless tune.  J Rome said he chose it because it is his favorite song in the world. But that doesn’t make it the right song choice in a TV singing contest.

However, he has been the favorite to win and probably will win regardless of what J Rome sings at this point in the competition.

This vocal was shaky. He did a lot of moving around that probably caused his voice to quiver a little. J Rome certainly showed a pretty good range, but his vocal tone is average in most of these performances. It may have been a fun performance, but he has been better vocally.
