The following FOX News video is about an interesting interchange between two animals. It was uploaded to their website on July 17, 2012.
Dan Sweeney was walking his dog on Metropolitan District Commission (MDC) property in West Hartford, Connecticut. He allegedly broke two rules – not having his schnauzer dog on a leash and being armed on the property.
The schnauzer spotted and chased a bear, and the bear didn’t take too kindly to the little thing. It swiped at the dog and injured it, cutting the dog open.
Meanwhile, Dan Sweeney pulled out his gun and shot at the bear several times, apparently missing it as the bear ran away.
According to the West Hartford Patch, the MDC is doing a boundary check to make sure it was actually their property. That is because Dan Sweeney could be in trouble for violating the above-mentioned rules.
The schnauzer is expected to recover from its injuries. It was treated at VCA Avon Emergency Animal Hospital.
