The following FOX News video deals with crime and the police. It was uploaded to their website on July 17, 2012.
In Kernersville, North Carolina, a car was stopped with two guys and a girl. For some strange reason, the two guys – Brian Pegram and Anthony Sides – got out and ran away. After the police caught the two and put them under arrest, Police Chief Kenneth Gamble came along and hit them with his car (while they were still outside). It is not clear yet whether the two guys were kneeling from being put under arrest or standing.
It appears that this is a case of negligent driving, not intent to hit the two suspects. In other words, the two suspects, who were injured but are recovering, may have a civil case against the Kernersville Police Department. But it is probably unlikely that the Police Chief Kenneth Gamble will be criminally prosecuted for this apparent accident.
