Duets Finale John Glosson Results And Predictions (July 19, 2012); “For Good” Duet With Jennifer Nettles

John Glosson has been one of the favorites to win Duets from the beginning in my eyes. But he started out getting middle-of-the-pack scores from the judges. I felt he was way underrated at times, but the judges started to put him around the top 2 or 3 in the weeks before the public started to vote on this premiere season of Duets.

Now, coming into the finale, John made the Top 3 last week. And either he, J Rome, or Jason Farol will be announced as the first winner of ABC’s Duets TV singing contest. And the winner is supposed to get a record deal with Hollywood Records.

Predictions:

I was hoping John would at least get second. But the problem is he hit the bottom 2 when they announced the Top 4 voting results last week. But John did survive by getting more votes than Bridget Carrington and made it to the final performances.

If I were picking the winner, I think John has done enough. But I expect J Rome to win, Jason to finish second, and Glosson to finish in 3rd place. This is based off of the previous week’s results and the fact that the voting is not likely to change dramatically between the Top 4 and the Top 3.

Results:

You can find out the finale results for John Glosson and the winner of Duets by watching the final episode. It airs on Thursday, July 19, 2012. The show starts at 8 p.m. Eastern and lasts only one hour. John is also supposed to be singing with his celebrity duet partner Jennifer Nettles at least once during the finals.

Before the results were announced, John sang “For Good” with his celebrity duet partner, Jennifer Nettles. This guy has an awesome voice. He should win if it’s based on the vocals. But we all know it’s a popularity contest.

John Glosson actually took 2nd on this premiere season of Duets. J Rome was the winner, and Jason Farol was in 3rd place.
