A teen who had just started studying at Mississippi State University, was killed in a one-vehicle crash. Teen Kaleb D. Barker was a freshman college student at MSU. He had just graduated this year from George County High School. Barker was from Lucedale, MS.

This accident occurred near the MSU campus, in Starkville. The exact address of the crash site was not available.

Barker died on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. According to, Kaleb was sent to the hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. But he could not pull through and succumbed to his injuries.
