A woman and her daughter were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Southern California.
Date: Tuesday, December 10, 2013
Time: About 9:30 in the morning
City / County / State: San Diego County, California
Address: Interstate 5, near the San Onofre Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility
1. Jillian Sedivec was 28 and lived in Oceanside, San Diego County, California.
2. Sedivec’s 4-year-old daughter, Savanah Wilson, also died. Savanah was a preschooler.
The truck driver was not injured.
For some reason, Sedivec slammed into the rear of a big-rig truck. Police say evidence seems to show that she never even slowed down, suggesting that she might have never even realized that the truck had slowed down ahead of her. That semi was a Ralphs supermarket truck.
Drunk driving is not suspected.
No charges would generally be expected with these facts and circumstances.
