A man has been killed when riding his bicycle. He was struck by a car. No one else was injured.

1. Bicyclist Paul Lin was 41 years old. He lived in Irvine, California, which is also in Orange County.

none

Cause:

Lin was riding his bike on Marguerite Avenue. He had partially turned around and was about to go west on San Joaquin Hills Road when a car already going west on that road struck his bike. What caused this to happen is not clear and is still under investigation.

Criminal Charges?

The driver of the vehicle has not been charged at this time. This person was not personally identified.
