Two women were killed in a bicycling event in Hampton, New Hampshire, that was part of the annual Granite State Wheelmen Tri-State Seacoast Century Ride. They were struck by a car when riding their bikes along a pre-determined route. The car hit 4 bicyclists. The other 2 bike riders and the driver of the car were injured but are expected to survive.
This ride takes place in and around Hampton Beach State Park. The exact address of the accident was not provided.

Pamela Wells was 60 years old. Reports say she lived somewhere in Massachusetts.
Elise Bouchard was 52 and also lived in Massachusetts.
Names, ages, and cities of residence of the 2 injured cyclists were not provided.
Darriean Hess was driving the car that struck Wells and Bouchard. She is 20.
Update: Hess has been charged in this case with negligent homicide. She did not have a driver’s license.
It isn’t clear why. But Hess veered into the wrong lane of traffic and collided with the bike riders.
