Crash Video Files: Fontana, San Bernardino County, California: Robert Garcia Cardenas Killed In Car Accident On Sierra Avenue; 6 Victims Injured

This crash killed one person, but 6 victims were injured seriously enough to be sent to the hospital. The man who died was the driver, and all 6 of the others were passengers in the van. 4 of them were children. Another vehicle (Toyota Yaris) was involved, but nobody in that vehicle was injured.

The accident occurred on Black Friday, November 29, 2013. It was about 4:15 in the afternoon. The location was Sierra Avenue, in Fontana, San Bernardino County, California.

Victims:

1. Robert Garcia Cardenas was from Fontana and was either 71 or 72 (reports differed).

2. The 6 injured persons were not identified.

3. The people in the Toyota Yaris were not identified.

Cause:

The Yaris passed the van and then somehow lost control. This caused the van to hit the Yaris, go out of control, and run off the road. After hitting a burm, the van rolled over and came to rest on its roof.

Criminal Charges?

No one has been charged in this case.
