Victims Killed:

1. Kristen L. Crandall was 17. She lived in Norwich, New York, on Elm Street.

2. Corey S. Jones was 37. He also lived on Elm Street in Norwich.

2. Anthony N. Stroman is 20 and from Binghamton, New York. He suffered minor injuries.

SUV Driver:

John P. Potter is 48 and from Port Crane, New York.

Police believe that Stroman was driving an Acura and, for some reason, veered or swerved onto the wrong side of the road and into the path of Potter’s Tahoe. This caused a collision between the two vehicles.

Less clear is the possible involvement of a 3rd vehicle that was not at the scene when authorities arrived. Police would like to speak to whoever was in that car, which was described as a brown Buick sedan. It is an older model but has the more modern blue and gold license plates.

Criminal Charges?
