Tropical Storm Debby has caused tornadoes in Central Florida. It now has caused a waterspout off the coast of Juno Beach, Florida. You can see this phenomenon on the CNN weather news video embedded below. This piece was uploaded to the CNN website on June 25, 2012.
The waterspout is off in the distance. It looks like a tornado. Only, instead of dust and debris, you can see water forming and swirling up into the sky. There are also low, dark clouds above the water. The waterspout is almost like if you took a whirlpool and reversed it so that the swirling water is in the air instead of under the water.
