The following CNN crime news video is about a police chase and subsequent shooting. It was uploaded to the CNN website on July 30, 2012.
The man in this video – James Lockhart – first led police officer Matthew Fox on a chase. He then suddenly stopped, got out of his car, and started shooting at the cop car. The shooting was caught on tape. Fox was shot but survived the attack.
What could have been a simple case of pleading guilty to reckless driving or similar charges turned into attempted murder. And scumbag Lockhart even approached Fox’s driver’s side window to get a better shot. So there is strong proof of intent to kill. Some people really are their own worst enemy. And how could anyone think he is actually going to get away with shooting a police officer, anyway? You are just going to eventually get caught and pay the price. This is really a pointless crime.
Of course, it is no surprise that the police found Lockhart, who continued to fire. He was then killed when police defended themselves. Instant justice.
