The following CNN animal news video is about a shark attack in the area of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in the town of Truro. The video was uploaded to the CNN website on August 7, 2012. This is from the Piers Morgan show.
Chris Myers was in the water with his 16-year-old son. They were headed out to a sandbar to go body surfing. At some point, they had decided that it was too far and reversed direction to go back to shore. About the same time, the shark bit Chris’s left ankle. He said he felt like his leg was in a vice.
Myers kicked at the great white shark with his right leg because it held its grip on the left leg. The shark then let go of him.
After that, the shark swam between him and his son, showing his dorsal fin. But he did not attack again and disappeared from whence he came.
