Jeremy Morris was 25 years old. He lived in Chicago, in the 5000 block of South Champlain Avenue.
Suspects And Motive:
Witnesses say two men approached Morris’s car as he was sitting inside of it. They opened fire, shooting him multiple times. The exact motive for the shooting was not clear. The only thing reported about the suspects is that they fled the crime scene in a dark-colored car.
After reporting on these stories for about a year now, one thing I can say about Chicago is DON’T sit and wait around inside a car for anything. It’s like a death trap in this city.
