Chantilly, Fairfax County, Virginia Crash News: George Tabash Killed On Route 28 In 2-Vehicle Accident

The Washington Post reports that George Tabash was killed in a 2-vehicle crash in Fairfax County, Virginia. The accident occurred on Monday, December 31, 2012. It was close to 2 in the morning.

The scene of the accident was the overpass on Route 28 that goes over Interstate 66. That is in the Chantilly, Virginia area.

Police believe that a big-rig truck was stopped at a red light. For some reason, Tabash slammed right into the rear of that truck. Police were still trying to determine if Tabash had been speeding or driving drunk at the time.

George’s vehicle also caught fire. It was not clear from the report whether he got burned.

George Tabash was 27 years old. He lived in Centreville, Virginia.

The unnamed truck driver was not injured. One would not expect him to be facing any criminal charges since he was simply stopped at a red light.
