All Beef Patty is a singer and drag queen. He has a decent voice for a drag queen. It’s better than I expected so long as All Beef Patty sticks to his best vocals. This singer is in the 3rd of 4 groups of 12 for the America’s Got Talent 7 Top 48. His group performed on the live episode of July 17, 2012.
All things considered, I don’t have high hopes for this All Beef Patty. He came across as arrogant in the Las Vegas auditions (even though that may have just been creative editing). As I said previously, Patty has a decent voice. But I don’t see it convincing many people to pick up the phone and vote.
I can’t remember any drag-queen type doing well on America’s Got Talent. Prince Poppycock was similar but more of a theatrical opera singer than a drag queen with a decent voice. I just don’t see any evidence that this All Beef Patty has either the singing, the image (drag queens are extremely generic and lacking in uniqueness), or the personality to excel on this show. And with such limited exposure, my prediction is this singing act will be eliminated in the Top 48. name me one successful singer who is a drag queen in the same vein as All Beef Patty. They scream alternative, and alternative is not the type of talent to win on AGT.
All Beef Patty sang “Let’s Hear It For The Boy.” He does have a pretty powerful voice. But the vocal style is very straightforward and lacks uniqueness. And I just don’t see the appeal of having him stand there and sing with those male dancers doing flips and stuff around him.
Howard thinks it is not a million-dollar act. Howie said he let the dancers do all the work and that it was cabaret. Sharon said it reminded her of Cher. She thinks people should vote for him because he lifted the spirits of the show.
