When you hear of these adult female teachers having sex with a student, it is typically one victim. But the lady teacher in this story was accused of sexual contact with five students at her high school. According to the Associated Press, she has now been convicted and sentenced to 5 years in prison.
The female high school teacher in this case is 27 years old. And she has 3 kids of her own. The woman’s name is Brittni Colleps. She was a teacher at Kennedale High School, and the sexual activity she was convicted of took place at her home. Colleps was tried by the Tarrant County criminal courts.
In the ABC News crime video below, Brittni’s husband, Christopher, defends her. He was away serving in the war in Iraq when she had sex with these high school students. I can’t fault the man for forgiving her. He knows Colleps a lot better than I do. But the reasoning I have heard him give just sounds like hogwash. He has said that she is loyal. Well, what she did was the opposite of loyal. The husband has also stated that he got married “till death do us part.” That obviously has its limitations. If a combination of cheating and felony sexual assault is not enough for divorce, then you wonder if he would get a divorce if she tried to kill him. After all, “till death do us part.” If it’s only attempted murder, then death would not have parted them.
