The 2012 London Summer Olympic Games will have 8 different medal events for diving – four for the men and four for the women. They include the men’s 3 meter springboard, men’s 10 meter platform, men’s synchronized 3 meter springboard, men’s synchronized 10 meter platform, women’s 3 meter springboard, women’s 10 meter platform, women’s synchronized 3 meter springboard, and women’s synchronized 10 meter platform.
The overall schedule for the London 2012 diving events is from Sunday, July 29, 2012, to Saturday, August 11, 2012. However, the times and dates for all these diving events are different. The London Olympics diving events take place at the Aquatics Centre.
Synchronized diving refers to two divers on the same team diving at exactly the same time that are attempting to mimic each other’s dive.

For London 2012, this event takes place all in one day. The final (and only) round is on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. According to the official schedule, the men’s synchronized 3 meter springboard starts at 3:00 p.m. and lasts only until about 3:50 p.m.
